Grant funds will be distributed two times this year, in June and November.

We are thrilled to make possible a new initiative out of the work and organizing of the North American Youth Section. Beginning this spring, we are opening the first application window for  Initiative Project Grants, a way to distribute funding to youth-led projects working out of values that align with our mission. The idea with these micro-grants (up to $500) is to enable the transformation of ideas into initiatives, to empower ongoing projects, and to bring financial support to important work being done by young people. 

This funding is meant for projects led by young people that feel a connection to the mission of the North American Youth Section of “creating spaces for young people to meet and collaborate with others looking to connect, take initiative, and live with intentionality”. Examples for projects could include publications, on-going event series’, theatre productions, art projects, etc.
